There is one that makes it feel alive

With the person one admires

I came across her

With a smile and grace

She walked as if

In her own happy place

I looked in awe at her beauty and charm

For a second i saw an angel

Who could do no harm

With thick black hair

Down her neck in warm embrace

For a second i lost

To the bright lights and night life

I saw her again to the comfort of my heart

Her gentle smile caressed my eyes again

I have seen beauty and more, i said

But there is something about you

That calms my soul, i said

She danced in elegance

She danced in beauty

She danced a goddess

Enchanting in her ways

Captivated i stared at her many sways

Charmed by this enchantress

Then i heard her voice

'Where have you been?' she asked

A symphony to my ears

What more can be said!

There was a light behind her eyes

As she peered into mine

She could see my soul i knew

Her heart reached out and touched mine

My heart reached out and touched hers

We stood there as one

For a second time stopped

For in the place that we stood

Our destinies entwined

And in oneness

Nothing else mattered i was home
